What your 5+1 provisional psychologist logbook must track
The 5+1 internship is a supervised practice program that provisional psychologists complete for general registration in Australia. Every hour is recorded in the Ahpra LBPP-76 logbook across three sections — PsychTrakka keeps them all compliant for you.
1,500 hours of psychological practice
Section A of your logbook — including a minimum of 500 hours of direct client contact, plus client-related activities like assessments, report writing, and case consultation.
80 hours of supervision
Section C — at least 50 hours of individual supervision with your principal supervisor, tracked against Ahpra's guideline of roughly one supervision hour per 18 hours of practice (1:18).
